Are you for or angainst them ?
My Veiws: I think that uniforms at schools isn't right. Being able to wear what you want lets you be your own person , and an idividual. Now dress codes like no tube tops and shirts that show the waist line i will except since i'm not normally the kind of girl that would be into wearing mini-skirts and spegetti straps. But TO me ,part of the way i dress is who i am. At school i'm known (along with Jinx) as the girls that set the trends. We are more in touch with the real high-school life than most of the homeschoolers , and we are ussually the ones that make new trends and show the others the ones that theya re sheltered from. Dressing in a jean mini skirt over camo capris and a layered band shirt with a cami on over it with a neck tie is who me and Jinx are . We are the fashion freaks ( in a good , weird kinda way) so getting a Uniform Dress Code is like a living hell to us. So my final statement is i am AGAINST uniforms , but for the regular modesty dress standards.

Uniforms seem realy bad idea to me. We had a debate(sorta) like this in class. It doesnt stop people from being bullies or jerks theirs always something differnt about a person to pick on them with.
As for dess codes I'm for. They are there for a good reason, I mean a perverted guy could do some perty bad stuff with scissors and a spegetti strap, and in our school we have a good deal of big people(not a few pounds a lot more) who think that they should wear belly shirts and stuff.
I like to dress differnt. Normaly I'm wearing a pull over jacket sorta shirt and look neat and clean but thats only because that's what my mom buys(I hate shopping and can NEVER find anything I like) but when I can I like to where a black shirt, chain mail, black jeans, and a red jacket(if needed).

I am FOR it... because you have plenty of time after school to dress however you want. Dress codes bring down the "preppy" type and the "gothic" type and its just fair. Life isn't fair, but if we can be equal more often.. life might be cooler.

When I was in kindergarten, I went to a private school that had uniforms, my brother also went thier and thier were still plenty of bullies, bulling on other stuff, so uniforms doesn't stop that. Now modesty dress codes is fine.
