Starscape Stables

Starscape Stables was created by top hunter rider Mellisa Rowan in 1996, and has since built up a tradition of turning out top Pony hunter/eq riders and ponies. Located in New Jersey, Starscape is located near Devon, and travels down to Florida for the HITS circuit during the winter. Riders and ponies compete at Devon, HITS, Pony Finals, and many other 'A' shows every year.

Rules-
1. Riders must be juniors.
2. You must bring a pony.
3. For lessons, you play Melissa and your character.
4. 2 people max.
5. 2 ponies/character max.
6. You have already been at Starscape for at least 1 month.
7. Have fun! ;D

Shannon lightly mounted Colors in the outdoor show ring, and gave her Paint mare a pat on the neck. She tightened her girth a hole a picked up her irons. Colors walked forward with her ears pricked, trying to canter towards a fence. Shannon laughed and pulled her down to a walk and back to the rail, happy that Colors was energetic that morning.

Austin whickered as Callan walked into the barn and she smiled, pushing her sunglasses on top of her head. She had seen someone riding as her mom had dropped her off, so she walked out to the ring, watching Shannon.

Colors looked back at Shannon, and Shannon could see the spark in her blue eyes. Colors tried to grab the bit and gallop away. "I swear, you should have been a Thoroughbred," Shannon said to her horse jokingly. Colors may be playful while schooling, but in the show ring she was all buisiness.

Callan turned on her heel and walked back into the barn, grabbing a halter out of her trunk and going to Austin's stall. He had been groomed that morning, so all she had to do was tack up and get her helmet and chaps off. Soon she led the bay out to the ring, and she mounted easily, walking around in the center of the ring to warm up.

Kaleigh had already been at the stables, and was hidden in a wash stall, tacking up Kiki. The mare side-stepped nervously as her owner slowly tightened the girth.
"It's okay," Kaleigh said softly placing a soothing hand upon her mare's neck. Once she felt the horse had relaxed, she tightened the girth one more whole, before bringing the bridle over.
"Open up big girl," Kaleigh said as she slid the bit in easily. Although Kiki might be a pain with the tack sometimes, she was like a dream once they were in the ring. Kaleigh strapped her GPA on, and shoved her SSG gloves quickly onto her hands. Her field boots were already on, and so Kaleigh lead her mare towards the outdoor show ring where everyone else seemed to be.
Kaleigh checked the girth one last time, before lowering her stirrups and then mounting. Once positioned comfortably upon her mount, she slid her boots into the irons, and moved Kiki into a nicely-paced walk.
"Nice day out, isn't it?" Kaleigh said to Shannon and Callan, taking a quick glance up to the bright blue sky.
