Tell us all about them! I've fell off a million times but thinking about this one always makes me laugh ;D Once I was riding one of our Arabs down our drive way bareback, at a canter, with only her halter on. Well if you have an Arab you know most of them don't like to step in water. So anyways, To make a short story even shorter. She saw a big mud puddle and I didn't. She stoped and I didn't. ;D Actually I was laughing 'cause she was staring at me like ugh! Why on earth are you sitting in a mud puddle in the middle of december!

A few years back I rode our 4h leader's 4yr old for a clinic, and during one of the excercises she freaked. All four of the ground bucking, fell onto my shoulder, didn't bruise my ego though, got back up a while later when my back stopped hurting. I'm permanantly bruised from it though, my shoulder still has problems!

hum, the last time I was on the ground from a horse is when I was trying to start our horse on barrels. and, he didnt like having to turn around the first barrel, I think, and in the midst of the turn, he goes up and starts bucking, and there I go, right over his head. It was actually very fun, untill I hit the ground. Which did hurt, but I got back up a few minutes later and made him do the turn again, so it wasnt so bad.

ouch. good thing to always get back up! never let a fall bruise your ego, even if it might bruise your elbow.

We took my Paint to a local show that was held in a covered arena. Well, he was fine in the warm up, and fine when he was the only horse in the ring jumping. But he started freaking in the under saddle class, so I decided to drop out and I went to stand in the middle. Bad idea... after the other horses reversed and all picked up a canter at the same time, he freaked at the noise and reared up (apparently worthy of Silver, haha) and I slid off. Wasn't hurt but I caught him and walked out of the ring. Yehhhhhhhh :-p
