I'd never jump western, far too painful. I'd love to get into jumping if I actually was showing; but I don't see the point if I'm not. Ya, hopefully I will never do that again. But I learned my lesson so the second time we jumped in a western saddle I didn't go as low. Lol!

mwuhahaha.. endurance saddle's are okay to jump in though.. they are comfy!

I'd love to try cross country, jumpers, or even western. The place where I'm getting a horse on trial from has 100+ acres of trails and cross country jumps outside the ring and it looks like so much fun. But I am definitely not one for going fast or uh mortal danger... :-p
I rode western on a trail ride once at Massanutten. I really wanted to take a lesson. But I'm sticking to hunters, I feel much safer (usually).

Reining would be awesome.
We got a letter today from my old horse's new owner- Man I swear that horse is nuts, but she took him to a horse trial and ended up 4th! He got 8th in dressage when he spooked at pumpkins. haha...
