Harry Potter is some of the best literature of the century. It REALLY bothers me when people are against it because they think its 'teaching kids to worship the devil'. That is THE most IDIOTIC thing I have ever heard. Some of my best friends are against it, and I still love them to death, but COME ON! Ugh. Bothers the HECK outta me.
I mean, come on!! Who doesn't love Ron?! Or even better, Ron and Hermione together?! LOL!

I think I'm the only one in the universe that doesn't read them -_- Actually my best friend doesn't read them. She isn't allowed to see or read anything that includes 'dark magic'. Personally I am for it. ^_^

yeah, I have several friends who think its evil and going to make them start doing voodoo or w/e. *rolls eyes* i love them to death, but i mean SEIORUSLY?! *sigh* there have been studies shown that say that church-going is not affected by reading Harry Potter. Besides, all the spells are based on latin, like winxqueen said. JK Rowling just looked for the latin root that fit the spell's purpose best, and there you go. Its not like they're actually real.

Ok, let me rephrase that ^_^ I think I'm the only one on this board that doesn't read them or care anything about reading them.
