Devil lifted his ears and looked up, but abrubtly dropped his head again, shaking his ebony mane and snorting. He decided the best thing at the moment was to remain silent, he wanted no trouble at the moment, and so therefore, showed his support to the older stallion. Though, he did lift his head again at Locket's mention, his nostrals flaring as he cought the same scent.

Rhyme was silent for a few moments, brown eyes thoughtful, before he nodded. "I suppose we can go meet them... If they want to be met." Shaking his forelock out of his eyes, the stallion walked off slowly.

Locket nodded, smiling softly to herself. She exchanged one look with Sirius before falling into step besides Rhyme.
Sirius glared after the two, finally trotting to catch up with them and moving to Locket's other side.

The brown and white stag ground his ivories nervously at the sight of the other equines approaching. A dagger struck the turf with a dull thud, as dark orbs rimmed with white flickered. The fae of grey and white stepped forth hesitantly, blowing softly from fluttering flares; auds pricked with interest. "Greetings," the vix spoke softly, sweetly. "I am dubbed Riviera. He," she nodded towards the brute; "may be called Ravon. We shall be welcomed here, nay?" she whickered presumptuosly, blinking chocolate visions. The stag stepped forward, his expression stormy. "You will excuse her. She is yet young, and knows little of the world." He bowed respectfully. "I," he rumbled, "am Ravon." The one called Riviera pushed forward. "Knows little! You are but two summers my superior!" She turned and cocked her head coquettishly at one of the approaching brutes. "As I said.."

Locket cocked her head, smirking at two. "Nice to meet you. The name's Silver Locket, known as Locket to most." She watched them curiously, her forelock falling over her eyes. 'Rather proper, aren't they?' she thought, inwardly smirking. 'Like Sirius and I...'
Sirius eyed the stallion suspicously, saying nothing. He pfefered to keep quiet and just watch for now, there would be time for talking once he knew he could trust them.

Ravon shook his heavy head, his gaze impassive and cold. "I'm off to find a drink," he rumbled before turning and trotting away, leaving his arrogant kin to her own devices. The stag had a short temper, easily set off by Rivieras's behavior.
The fae wathced her half-brother go, appearing unconcerned. Ravon was moody like that. He might be back in a few hours - or a few days. She tossed her finely sculpted head light-heartedly, flinging obscuring tresses from her visions, and re-focused her gaze on the others. "Will you accept me?" she asked, more timidly.

Locket smlied softly. "Gladly. But unfortunately, its not my decision, and I'm not even sure if we have been excepted ourselves." she said with a light laugh, looking up at Rythem. She glanced over at the retreating stag curiously, wondering what they had done.
Sirius relaxed a bit now that the stag was gone. He shook out his mane, pawing the ground restlessly.

((You rp horses a lot, glacial?))
Silently watching, the stag let his deep eyes flick over the two carefully, those mocha orbs hidden within the shadows hanging forelock cast; their expression was obscured by the dark, although it would not be a wild guess to say he had his solemn expression on, the kind that painted his face with a noble, wise kind of light. It was more for theatrics than anything, for the stag wasn't really as old or as well traveled as he at first seemed. He had only been hard pressed at birth, and his life continually hung in the balance. And that is what one recieves for being different...
Tossing his long, elegant head, Rhyme blew a low sigh through ashen nasals and looked at them through now visible optics, expression friendly. "I will welcome all who do not wish for strife with an open mind." Nodding to them, he flicked his wispy tail, ignoring the flaxen strands which brushed against his lean flanks, and watched Ravon walk off before turning and giving himself some distance. Figuring the conversation at an end, he let his poll downwards towards the turf, ivories claming greedily over tender green stalks as he raised his head once more, gazing about the flatlands with keen eyes.

ooc~ i don't, and it shows. lol. but i'm not really fond of the whole 'maw' movement.. teehe.
Locket exchanged a quick glance with Sirius. "Thank you." she said simply, lowering her head to graze as well. They had nothing better to do for the time being.
Sirius watched Rhyme suspiciously. Finally, he lowered his head to graze. The stag had nothing to prove himself a threat to him or his sister, and seemed friendly enough. It was against his nature to be so cold and distant towards other horses, and so he decided that he would act as he normally would and just keep an eye on him.

((Heehee, I keep forgetting. I'll try not to use it, then. It's a real word, though...))
Rhyme watched them quietly, banner flicking as he chewed thoughtfully on the juicy stalks, deep eyes lost in thought. He'd gotten what he'd wanted, although it was rather easier than he'd thought. So, they didn't even expect him to get this far? They were disproven already, actually ong ago, when he'd refused to lay down and die. A slight smile glinted in his eyes as he mulled things over, contentedly silent for the moment.
